I've found a better way to track this game.

What is DeckManager?
DeckManager is a program I wrote to help run online games of Battlestar Galactica. BSG has a lot of decks to keep track of, after all, and handling all of that was a hassle for human players. People were doing it either by keeping the physical decks dealt out or by creating excel spreadsheets with all the cards in them, and they both seemed like bad options to me. Dealing with large amounts of data at once is what computers are good at, after all. So I wrote DeckManager, and now it keeps track of all the decks and player's hands, reshuffling and discarding them as needed. It's very helpful.

Ooh, promising.

Yeah, very. I played around with it a bit and it looks like a very solid tool.

I wouldn't try to use it for this particular game at this stage though.

(Unless you feel like going through a largish XML file and the thread by hand to figure out what has been drawn so far .. way too much work I imagine.)

I'm pretty sure it's to prevent linking there or something... other forums aren't always on good terms with SA.

Since I haven't seen these forums have any kind of filtering before I guess that's a good theory.


Tempted to throw away all the crisis cards that let people draw.

Or people should check this thread a little more often :p

@Cain - If you can, XO me for another two ships prepped please.
Otherwise, moving to shipyard and prepping a ship yourself might work. (It depends a bit, if you have a critical situation moving to the shipyard isn't a bad idea at all...)

Unless you have a better plan, anyway. I'm not seeing a lot of options. If you XO Ciryandor he might be able to play a nice quorum card but that risks brigging him.

We could execute a cylon I suppose, but I'm not sure what good that would do besides costing us cards.

Attacking the OF is something I'd avoid doing since that will end you up in a place where the two cylons can just activate the Occupation authority and then brig you.
 
You draw this round, too, remember that, though you haven't stated what you draw. You definitely have at least eight, there is absolutely no way for you to have less since that's your draw for this turn and what you got from the crisis card. I'll send your hand when you tell me whether you take 3 tactics or 3 leadership.

Just trying to speed things up by reminding people of the option, and of what it is exactly that the game is waiting on.
edit: Since we're close to jumping I guess galactica will come back soon. Which means we'll also have to deal with ships, if I'm not mistaken.
I can imagine why you're not able to preload anything :)


BTW, Artell, do you consider it ok to preload actions publicly that do not entail playing cards?

At this point in the game when the Cylons are all outed, I do not mind since the need for deception is not there.
