No I missed that, soory. Still grappling with the intricacies of the rules.

Hmn, I thought you might not have realized it.
The Pegasus expansion added that location, in the original game weapons control was all there was.

##No SP

I don't even draw TAC

It's up to Lord Strange, Saintis and EL. They do draw TAC :)

Saintis has already preloaded not playing SP this turn. Waiting on EL and Lord Strange

##No SP

Hope you've got some EL

Should I preload LEA or ENG?

Adama Discards XO-1 to move to Pegasus CiC and attack the Cylon Basestar. No SP is played on the roll.

Joining the Chief on the more powerful Pegasus, Admiral Adama takes charge of the big guns and targets the cylon basestar. Clearly such a simple and logical order cannot backfire. Sadly luck was not with the colonials as that is exactly what happened. ((Roll of 2)) There was a mechanical failure in the weaponry that caused a power-drain-loop-misc-sci-fi-terms that caused severe damage in the engine room.

CRISIS: Unsettling Stories

Current Player Chooses:
Skill check: POL/LEA = 9
PASS: No Effect
FAIL: -1 Morale and each player discards 1 Skill Card and draws 1 Treachery Card

OR

-1 Morale

POST CRISIS: Activate Raiders, +1 Jump Prep

Clearly the fleet wonders if the mechanical failure was perhaps instead...sabotage...<<<RP

Action Queue
Lord Strange~Decide to go for the skill check or take the morale hit.

Should I preload LEA or ENG?

It depends a bit on what you want, but I'd go for leadership at least initially.
ENG is one of the least used colors in skill checks, at least before the pegasus phase.
However, everyone else draws at least some LEA by default. The chief and me are the only people drawing ENG.

edit: Forgot about Caprica Six there - she can draw ENG optionally, but since she's a cylon and didn't draw engineering .. it doesn't really count :)

edit2: How does firing the big guns cause damage to the engine room, of all places?

Bloody CIC, how the heck can it damage itself?

*Insert misc star trek technical babble?*

## Preload play 1 card should LS go for the skill check.

Which he should, imho. We have plenty of people with leadership and at least a little pol available.

edit: Drat, just found the picture I was looking for in the previous game .. finally.

edit: Anyway, here are our two Pegasus heroes, scratching their heads in the Engine room:

##Preload 1 strong card in case of skill check

@randakar: picture is not showing

## Preload play 1 card if skill check is taken.

Ill go for leadership.

## Preload pick LEA.

@randakar: picture is not showing

I can see it just fine. Must be some silly forum software getting in the way again :(

At least unless someone has a Support the People they can play allowing me to draw a Leadership so I have one to play.

Nope. No StP here. If I had one I'd have used it already.
edit: And Kriszo didn't either. Nobody else draws POL..

"Admiral Adama to Engine Room, we are targeting a big Battlestar, Main Cannons to full power"

"The power grid can't handle that Admrial-"

"I don't care what you say, they can handle it and they will, now power the Cannons or I will have you thrown out the airlock."

"Weapons are ready Admiral."

"Fire!"

The ship shakes a a large beam of energy flies right past the Battlestar, then explosion rock the Engine Room.

"This is Admiral Adama, what is going on down there."

"I told you they could not take it, our power grid just shorted out damaging the Engine Controls, it will be at least three days until we can jump to FTL."

"We have a bloody Cylon ship outside shooting at us, what do you mean at least three days until we can escape?"

"You should have thought about that before you ordered us to fire the cannon at full power."

:)

btw three days is about how it would go in Startrek, meaning that they will be fine to jump in about 5 minutes.
