I'd been really interested in the game since launch, and the great Steam sale going on right now convinced me to pull the trigger.

Unfortunately, whenever I try to launch it, it almost immediately crashes. I've checked that my computer meets the requirements, and my drivers are up to date. Not really sure what to do next.

I don't even get an error message, just Steam giving me the option to launch the game again.

Verified the game files through Steam.

The game crashes because it is trying to run on your Intel video system:
igdusc64.dll caused an Access Violation (0xc0000005)
in module igdusc64.dll at 0033:fb4a8872.

As you have an nVidia as well it should run on that, in fact that should happen automatically.

In the nVidia Control Panel, Manage 3D Settings, force BattleTech.exe onto the "high power nVidia" option there.

I appreciate the quick reply, but I don't see a 'High Power nVidia' option anywhere in the NVIDIA Control Panel, either in Global or Program Settings.
