Looking in the official repo for dlc content, caardappel-hbs/bt-dlc-designdata, there's:
Code:
"UIName": "Fire Javelin JVN-10F",
Most probably related, if not the issue itself.

I know this is an old bug but I figured out how to solve it. This does not seem to remove the existing places "Fire Javelin" is displayed to the user, I checked storage, store (via selling tab with a FS9 and other JVNs in my inventory for sale to confirm) and on the mechbay/skirmish and in combat UI. I may have missed somewhere, but I think the game uses the chassisdef's "Fire Javelin" for everywhere the user sees it in the game. This fix allows it to slot in between the 10A and 10N where it should be.

mechdef needs to read:

"UIName": "Javelin JVN-10F",

I'll include this fix in the next release of the cFixes mod, probably in a week or so.

EDIT: Corrected in 1.9.1 version of cFixes
