Truly not sure what to suggest for this one. Presumably the scenario itself is not bugged or everyone would get this. Has this happened in more than one campaign for you?

The only things I see in this files is the nVidia driver has an update available now:

And Add Battletech.exe to the exceptions list of your antivirus app; ESPECIALLY if you have Windows Defender, add it to the Ransomware "Apps Allowed Through" list.

Thanks. I'll get that driver updated and I've added Btech to Defender (I think).

I think my computer just hates Battletech. It wouldn't run at all with 8 gigs of RAM. I had to upgrade to get it to be almost playable. The opening movie still only skips about half the time when I press ESC. The graphics still judder, even though I have all animations turned off. At least once a session, I get a pink mech since the texture doesn't seem to attach itself properly.

I quit turning in bug reports since everyone else seems to be fine.

Oh. And the Thumber artillery piece always (and only) does damage to the mechs back... even when it lands in front.

FYI there will almost certainly be no more patches or updates for this game, so if these are bugs they are there to stay I'm sorry!

The pink mech thing is known to happen when you hit PLAY too soon, from what I've read here.
