One line summary of your issue
Tag team mission no evac zone

What platform are you running the game on?

Steam

What operating system do you use?
Windows 10 - 1909 Build 18363.535
Which version of the game are you running?
1.8.1
What DLC do you have installed?
Flashpoint,
Urban Warfare,
Shadowhawk Pack,
Heavy Metal

Please explain your issue is in as much detail as possible.
I'm doing a campaign run and I've just done a Tag-Team mission against the local government. The OPFOR has been wiped out, but their is no where to escort the allied forces.
Kind of a shame because I would have had pieces of a warhammer.
Have you tried verifying your files?
Yes

Steps to reproduce the issue
Play the mission, no exit point.

I've uploaded two saves - it's an Ironman game, but I copied the original save before exiting, So I've got a save after the mission showing no exit point, and one before which should have the contracts on the planet.

Attach DxDiag (PC), System Info log (Mac), or run sudo lshw -html > specs.html and uploaded specs.html (Linux)

Attach Output Log
Windows: \Users\YourUserName\AppData\LocalLow\Harebrained Schemes\BATTLETECH\output_log.txt
Mac OS: Users >{name} > Library > Logs > Unity > Player.log
Linux: ~/.config/unity3d/Harebrained Schemes/BATTLETECH/Player.log

If the game crashed, please attach the crash file with the time stamp closest to the crash.
Windows: [Steam library folder]\steamapps\common\BATTLETECH\DumpBox
For v.17 and beyond try here: C:\Users\[YourUserName]\AppData\LocalLow\Harebrained Schemes\BATTLETECH
OSX: Macintosh HD > Users > [username] > Library > Application Support > Steam > steamapps > common > BattleTech > DumpBox
Linux: [Steam library folder]/steamapps/common/BATTLETECH/DumpBox

If a save game was loaded at the start of the game session, upload it. Please make sure to upload the save game with the timestamp closest to when you loaded it.
Windows:
Steam: [Steam installation folder]\userdata[SteamID]\637090\remote\C0\SGS1

I have had this bug occur also. Identical details as OP, also on a tag-team mission.

A.I. allies move around on the spot basically chasing each other in circles repeatedly every phase. I am not going to upload all my data as it was enough of a pain creating an account just to post this message when I could have been stomping mechs across battlefields instead.

Yeah, same here, REALLY pisses me off, since I played it really careful and managed to drop an Archer whole...are all the Tag Team missions like this? if so please state, if this is the case or if there is a plan to fix otherwise I'll have to avoid this type in the future

@Killersmurph I have only had this happen to me once and I have played a few tag team missions so I think it is just unlucky. I am not sure how the game is programmed but it probably just comes down to a series of "objective complete" checks. My best guess would be (very hard guess here) that even though we are allowed to lose all but one of our allies in the mission the game checks for four allied survivors before it spawns the evac zone instead of checking for 1 or more survivors and then spawning the evac zone.

Did both of you lose an allied unit and have the evac zone fail to spawn after eliminating all hostiles like I did?

There is a duplicate post (I don't have enough comments yet to link it)

The players there also report losing an ally so my suspicions grow about how the game checks for survivors before spawning the evac zone. However on another tag team mission I encountered a similar problem only the evac zone did spawn after I scoured the map and found a single enemy mech hiding in a far corner of the map even though there was no objective to eliminate it... Once that unit was destroyed the evac zone spawned fine however if I hadn't sent a mech from my lance to the extreme corners of the map I would never have known and the allied units did the same behaviour of walking around in circles aimlessly. So it is also a possibility that the game runs a check for enemy units being 100% eliminated (even though it is not a mission requirement) before spawning the evac and in our other "bugged" missions there was simply one enemy mech hidden on the map somewhere to destroy.

I described the bug and what to do here in detail:
URL

I still hope, HBS is going to fix this.

Doesn't work.

There is more abnormal behaviour in this mission:

The first lance is "officially" 4 mechs plus 4 extra that do not count if you kill them (that's my 3rd run on my second run of the campaign). The extra mechs are not counted for and not shown in the activation bar above.

I repeated the mission after reading your post and I went to do exactly as you said letting me be seen first before killing anything. Hell, I even attacked the fist mechs with melee.

The evac zone is not marked at the very beginning of the mission. If you have a load of that check it out,: The camera pans to the place where the evac zone should be, there is even a highlight in the FOW where the evac should be. But the yellow (or blue) hexagon is missing already during the briefing.

I also saw a dead Javelin floating in the air, LOL.... this whole missions seems like an acid trip

Well, besides of waiting another couple of years for a fix the only option that I see if you have already embarked in one of these is to withdraw. I got at least a Javelin for selling :p

BTW, this forum is a tad trippy too, as it's blocking my reply as "spam like" for posting you URL, quoted, mind you :p

Just to prevent a misunderstanding:
Did you make sure that a mech of the second lance has seen you?
Because only they trigger the necessary objectiv, not the first 4 you encounter.

I just encountered this one as well. The second lance saw me 100%, as they fired on my mechs and had direct vision of me for almost the whole combat. After everyone was dead, no evac, allied mecs ran in circles (all survived), I ran around the whole map to see if anything is left - nothing - and just grouping up on the probably evac site didn't do anything either, nor did save & reload. Had to withdraw.
