Please explain your issue is in as much detail as possible.
As i work from home and its holiday season in my country, i´ve been playing a lot since the 1.9. update. And despite going on several missions no unit of the update ever appeared. Only stuff until 1.8. I know it could be bad luck, but i think its a bug as the game don´t have that much units to exist reasonable odds of not a single new unit appearing in more than 10 drops. The new mechs appear in the stores though.

How did you fare against the Inferno Carrier?
There was a small but steep ridge between me and the convoy. Since I used my sensor pings to reveal escort mechs and I didn't receive counter fire from LRM carries I wasn't expecting anything bad to be there when I jump on top of the ridge with my Vindicator.
To make it short the Inferno Carrier immediately shut down my mech exposing it to a full round of pounding :(. Luckily Cockpit Mod + saved the pilot..
From now on the new rule is to sensor ping any vehicle with 60 tons asap.
Still curious about the NARC Striker. Saw him but killed him before getting hit.

**Edit**

BTW anyone can confirm that Damage mouseover in the Mech Bay for LRMs is broken?
It says my LRM Boat has 6 stability damage?

Saw it in my first 1.9 game - made me think the convoy AI isn't totally fixed as it stayed back and let the guards and the rest of the convoy (including a Trebuchet-7 and a Demolisher LBX!) duke it out. I foolishly moved into its LoS when I though it was sleeping and immediately had the mech shut down from the alpha strike. Fortunately not much left to worry about but almost got hit next turn as well (escaped a second shutdown by skin of my teeth) They die very satisfactorily though.

You are 100% Correct... just having the weapons isn’t enough, a credible, reasonably proficient AI must have a know how to employ them to best effect.
