Yeah, while people (particularly HoI3 players) like to bash HoI4 for the way it was released, at least the damned thing was playable at release. HoI3 was an absolute disaster on release. But people like ignoring that.
This is a fairly common phenomenon amongst Paradox fans in general, where they tend to forget or weren't around for the pre-CKII era where buying a game upon release was ill advised because the games tended to be majorly broken upon their release. I remember Vicky II 1.0 being a complete mess, for example, playable, but a mess.
