what is dumbfounding to me is a beach DLC:

- Doesn't use the new trees within the buildings gardens
- doesnt use lighter colours for the buildings (to reflect sunlight, keep cool, seriously, black rooves!?!?)
- no front gardens facing the sea?
- a lack of pools, sunbeds, umbrellas, patio, in gardens
- no beach content in the slightest like being able to create a beach
- too many bungalows! the beach is valuable real estate, often beach side properties tend to be tall.
- no unique buildings for hotels or commercial seaside cafes, heck no growable seaside cafes?

I think its yet another insult to the community.

And for the double the price a CC pack cost in CS1.

There is a new game mechanic that takes proximity to water into account for land value, but it's true of anything zoned near shores. Source: City Planner Plays video.

So why can't beach houses produce a slightly higher land value near water than other homes, and less far away from water?

Edit: Someone make an Amsterdam map please, with 100s of canals everywhere :p

I love the NA Beachfront properties, they still majoritly feel like the houses of the extremely rich only, but they look like houses in my country (NZ), houses I can imagine existing or like onces I've seen, which the previous buildings by far didn't.

Really good looking buildings and I'm glad they're not limited to beach zones or near water as they will be my go to low density from now on, especially in smaller towns/rural suburbs
