Benelux 1.08 "EU CD not found"

Hi

I have EU Benelux version. The original packed version (1.07) works just fine. However, after I install the 1.08 patch, the game just says EU CD not found and refuses to load.

I have 1 CD and 1 DVD drive. But it's very strange cause de 1.07 version did NOT have this problem.

Anyone?

I have just confirmed it.

No patch used: Game runs fine

BENelux 1.08 patch used: refused to start. 'EU CD not found'

BUT

if German 1.08 patch used: Game runs fine

It's most certainly a problem with the patch.

Please Paradox, resolve this situation

Dear Bruno

I have also bought the Benelux version just a few weeks ago (or better, I got it in a Belgian store). After installing the 1.08BEN patch, with an occassionally externel ZIP-drive, I got the 'EU CD not found' message.
Patric wrote me it could be the cause of this second (ZIP-)drive I used. He was right: in my settings my CD-RW became E-drive and the ZIP became D-drive. Before (that is: when I installed EU 1.07 and played it) the CD-RW was D-drive. I just solved these settings in the control panel, reboot the computer and got the same 'EU CD not found'.
Then I saw I bought not a Benelux copy of the game because there was a Koch-logo (UK-version) on the box. I installed the 1.08UK patch, controlled my settings, rebooted and could play the 1.08 version.
So, look for your version (is it really a Benelux version) and the settings of your drives.

I hope you'll soon play the 1.08 version.

where exactly did you buy the game? Somewhere in Gent?
And what versions do they have?

Dag Jcocle,

the only stores I know, who sell the game in Belgium are: 'Vobis' and ' 't Computerwinkeltje' (Brugge). The problem with Vobis is that they are going out of Belgium. I did buy the game online at ''t Computerwinkeltje' and within a week the game was at my postoffice.
The version is 1.07UK (and not Benelux???). I'm not sure, but I think this is the internetadress: www.hcw.be.
