It is Monday of the next week, and it is high time to hand this award to another writer. But I am rather, incredibly biased for Stellaris (And CK3 now that I was reading @Chac1's Lost Season of the Danes and I had to try CK3 again), but alas! My love for Sci-Fi triumphed once more through another user, showcasing a very interesting and narrative-driven story of a machine client named Sophant E16, observing an unsuspecting civilization, and its' own realizations as it slowly detaches itself from the main Matrix.

And as I received the support of you, so too shall I promote this new-coming member to our forums and their unique character driven take on First Contact (One of my favorite topics).

So, congratulations to @General_Dictator for their Dressel Incident narrative AAR! I handover the Best Character Writer of the Week to them! And I wish them a warm welcome to our forums, too!

We will watch Von Neuomov's career with great interest.

Thanks for the timely passing of the baton @Darknotez .

Yes, the new one from @General_Dictator has started out with some interesting turns and a cyborg/machine of some type with quite the personality.

One minor point though. Although I do vow one of these days to try out CK3, Lost Seasons of the Danes is set in an alternate CK2 timeline. However, given its narrative nature, it is not always easy to tell.

Anyway, congrats to @General_Dictator ! Always good to honor a first-time winner and one of our newcomers.

An appropriate choice that honours the namesake of the month, Janus. On the one face the new beginnings promised by a new winner who has not won before. On the other face the backward looking tradition of Stellaris award Incest.

Congratulations indeed @General_Dictator

@General_Dictator, it's been over a week, care to pass the torch and come up with a nomination?

Hmmm

Well I haven't read much of anything lately so I henceforth leave the floor open to anyone to nominate a nomination.
Thanks for the opportunity @General_Dictator . I do suggest as a new writer in the forum that you pick at least one AAR to read besides posting your own. But perhaps that will come with time.

Given the opportunity, I would like to bestow the rare double-tap to @Lord Durham . He has not won this award for many years and the last time he won was also for The Sons of Ragnar Lodbrok: In the Shadow of the Great Old Ones. He has just completed perhaps the final chapter in that revived AAR and one of his main characters, Madelyn Mary York needs to have her time in the spotlight here too. (As she has never been mentioned in these awards before.)

Congrats to LD!

Yikes! Now I'm blushing. I've never been double tapped before. Madelyn, or Mads, thanks you profusely. She really is a fun character to write for. More later...

I'm rather partial to the character of Al, of course...but Madelyn works too. ;)

Congrats, LD!
