I was working on researching a potential nominee just now, but wanted to make sure my choice stayed within the rules and also had posted in the past week. That always narrows the choices for me. If no one else steps up soon, I should have a choice. I always wait a beat or two to submit a nomination anyway to give others a chance.

I would like to nominate somebody, if I may. How about James 'Horse-killer' Mowry from @Eurasia's Grand Tactician - The Civil War - Whiskey And Lemons DLC (Union) AAR? He's the sadsack Union officer who inspired a number of ancillary characters from other writers. It looks like Eurasia hasn't won this award since 2020, so it seems like he's due as well.

Congrats to @Eurasia . Excellent choice @Cora Giantkiller . That AAR is certainly worthy of notice, as is Eurasia's writing and sponsoring of all the creativity happening there.

This saves me further research although I have at least one or two ideas for the future now.

WOW! Thank you folks! Thank you @Cora Giantkiller !!! I forgot about the Character of the Week award. As pointed out the last time I won was in 2020 for TWO characters. I always sponsor creativity. Also it gives me time to write the next chapter. The battles can take hours if not a whole day and then just breaking them into chapters can take days. And research. Helps I have a ton of books on the American Civil War also.
