Noticed this opportunity many hours ago but left this open until now to give others a chance at nomination.

However, I will jump in as I often do to keep these nominations fresh.

I am months behind in the AAR I would like to nominate. However, I noticed that the character Marja is in the latest update this week (although I am not reading out of sequence, just a quick skim to check). Quite the complex character she is, among many in The Sword of Virtanen. So please congratulate @Cora Giantkiller , who is both due this recognition and more than worthy for her excellent work.

Congratulations @Cora Giantkiller and Marja! The Sword of Virtanen has so many wonderful characters.

Thanks again, @Chac1. And congrats, @Cora Giantkiller.

Thanks, everybody! This is a real treat. Marja's a fairly personal character for me so I'm glad that she's resonating with other people too.

Congrats, @Cora Giantkiller! The Sword of Virtanen really is a masterwork of the narrative style, and the characters really do make it worth the read. I remember being very much a fan of Ermengarda from Book I; clearly I'm going to have to do some catching up on the other books!

So I would like to hand the award off to @Jojonium, who has never won this award previously. I very much enjoyed reading about the life of Roger III of Sicily, his triumphs and struggles, in the AAR God's Hands made Wonders, God's Hands made Me, and I think the story is more than worth a read for anybody who is currently sleeping on it.

Excellent choice @Cora Giantkiller .

So congrats to @Jojonium ! Always great to have a first time winner. Well done. This is definitely a worthy AAR. So many good ones in the CK3 sub-forum these days.

Congrats @Jojonium!

I'd really meant to congratulate @Cora Giantkiller in her hour of fame, but I see that it's already passed along. I heartily recommend Sword of Virtanen to anyone interested in character-driven narratives. Very great work!

Congratulations also to all the other authors I've missed in the (probably) months since I last posted here. I'll maybe come by sometime and make up for it. :)
