I ranked some of my favorite mods here (in my opinion, some of the best ones for CK2). Most should be in this forum already - nice to try the CK2 versions while you can, before CK3 editions release.

A few extra mentions not on there: Princes of Darkness (although 3's version is available), AGOT, and Middle Earth Project. Played a lot of those as well!
 
Very good list! I would like to recommend Seven Kingdoms, a fresh take on the ASOIAF world focusing on Westeros and Free Cities. Lux Invicta, mod which has been around for many years and is still getting updated slowly, and Western Europe: Winter King :)
 
Great list. That being said, I don't understand why everyone still recommends Your Personal Castle. There are much better building mods like Flogi's Techmod or Rowan's Resource and Building overhaul. My favorite is CFH Buildings V2, as it's compatible with everything.
 
I agree. Personal Castle was nice, but afaik is kinda outdated and old now.
