So I want to make a unit that is just a recolor of the Copper Golem for a summon. However, the modding guide pdf isn't terribly useful for this since the two paths it goes down are

1. Editing the existing content, which I do not want to do, since I do not want to change the appearance of the copper golem.
2. Creating new content, which I do not want to do, I just want to use a reskinned copper golem

The problem is whenever I copy the clb for the copper golem "MateriumAnimatedArmor_Skin.clb", it breaks almost all of the references and I can't seem to fix them without the original meshes. Am I missing something? Thanks for any help on the issue.

I'm opening it in the resource editor, then using save as to change the name and place it in my mod at the appropriate directory
