Having issues with getting 1.1.0, I have tried to update and then start the game (after restarting my PC, Verifying Files), no love!
Not sure what to do, since the error says that:
"...an error occurred while updating Battletech (missing executable):
Not sure how to get this fixed, any and all info would be appreciated!

UPDATE!
I went back on this particular thread to page 9 and followed the instructions there.
Now it is saying that I do not have enough disk space available to update, needs 22.5G!
Now I KNOW I have at least a Terabyte of disk space and more...
Sigh...

Finally!
Seems after removing some unwanted files (I did not realize that a partition had been made on my main drive (which is very small!!!)), I opened up the required room for the download/update to work. Once it finished I was able to launch & play!
YEAH!!!

@allaKAZAAM : I wonder if a full uninstall, reboot, reinstall would do it? As long as you don't delete the folders, game saves should be safe. At least, in my experience they have been.

Thanks for the info, though I would need to Install in the larger area of my main drive which has 900+Gigs, where it is now has only 100Gigs. Will wait to complete Single player Campaign, then uninstall and set up properly.
Thanks again for the heads up and help!

I'm getting at least one crash per battle now. I love everything added but something's not right! Where can I find debug stuff or whatever and post it to you guys?

Well, none of these changes make me want to play the game again.
After finishing the campaign this game is till pointless/meaningless.
Only people who like to do the same thing over and over without ever achieving a goal or doing something new and interesting will like this patch.
It is almost like a survival game without most of the survival aspects. When I stopped playing I had a whole company of assault mechs and was bored.
I monitored this forum in the hope that they would make the post campaign a little bit more interesting.
Maybe I'll come back in a year or so.

IMPORTANT: Additional note for players who mod various game files…Reminder that modding is not officially supported. If you have saved a game with any mod active, that saved game will not work after an update has been applied unless you replace all modded files exactly as they were when the save game file was created. Saved games require the exact same data state in order to function properly.

Jeez, I'm glad that I read this before I update my game. This is going to save me a LOT of headache, heartache, and cussing! It seems crazy that my saved games won't work unless I return all of the game's files exactly to their vanilla state and then save the game after doing that BEFORE updating the game! Considering that STEAM automatically updates games by default, this is going to cause many players' old saved games to no longer work and make a lot of players angry!

I have tried the suggestion on page 9.

This is a known issue with Steam. Here's the most reliable way we've seen to get around it:
  1. Switch to the desired beta (e.g. public_beta, also works with the live version)
  2. Remove an existing game file in your installation directory (e.g. BattleTech.exe)
  3. Verify Integrity of Game Files (BATTLETECH Properties -> Local Files tab)
  4. Patch should download and apply normally
When I get the error show in the picture attached.

So far I still get this error. I can also see that it only downloads 15MB of data each time.

Help would be appriciated.

Are there any more logs I can get to help with solving this problem?

The most obvious tip I would give is wipe Battletech and reinstall fresh.
