Beta Patch Installation Trouble

When I try to extract the beta patch into my folder it says "Cannot create Crusaders.exe" and "Access is denied."

Any experience with this problem?

The Beta patch is for the Deus Vult expansion. Are you extracrting the files into that folder?

I've been trying to unzip it into: C:\paradoxentertainment\crusaderkings Is there some where else I should be unzipping it?

The default directory for Crusader Kings is

C:\Program Files\Paradox Interactive\Crusader Kings

Yes. I forgot to add the Program Files part, but that's basically where I am trying to put it. But my CK files are in Paradox Interactive.

It lets me replace every file except the crusader kings .exe file. And that always goofs up the install.

Put the rar-file into the default CK-directory and then right-click on it and select, 'extract here', that is how it should work

Do you have DV installed ? Or do you just have CK

You can also extract the rar-file into a new folder and then manually copy and paste them to your CK-folder
