If I marry a foreign noble's daughter/granddaughter, i am offered the chance to take money or dowry. It seems that if the amount is quite large i don't get anything if I chose the money.

How large does it have to be to not to work and are you certain it's only size that matters?

As said before if this is immediately after a reload, there is something dodgy in the scale function...

Well if its 5 or 10 or so i'm okay, but if its like 50 or so whenever it is i get 0 gold.

Thats really odd in my game as Byzantium last night I got a 1600+ dowry when the emporer married. Could this be a case of second or subsequent duaghters not getting a dowry?

I would have said yes, until i married an only daughter and still got nothing when offered 125 gold.

Perhaps it has to do with rank? When marrying i was a count as most of these were descendants of a current duke?

As i said though, even if the amount is off on scale still for some reason, i recieved 0 gold, not just less for choising to take the dowry.
