I am in the middle of the best game I've played yet with HOI2 and as the SU and after thoroughly smashing and grabbing western europe I turned my attention towards asia and the plight of my fellow communist comrades in china fighting the Japanese. Making several daring paratroop assualts I secured Okinawa, the Korean Peninsula (now the DPRK 
) and the northern most Japanese home islands (not the big one but above). After a somewhat alarming troubled push into Manchuria I am stalled in a battered front line along the old Manchuko/Nat. Chinese border. USA dominated the Japanese and as they swept ashore both in Japan and the Manchurian provinces the Event for Japanese Surrender fired. When it tells me I can "inherit the Realms of CHina (or manchuria cant remeber exactly which name) the game crashes out. Happens everytime...everytime . Italy at the time is sercured under decadent corrupt French rule (i know, I stormed Germany when they DoW'd France and their invasion was stalled in and around Paris trying to blunt the Soviet juggernaught, and left Italy till after I had secured Germany and the Balkans... to late b/c the French blitzed the hell out of Italy and I was forced to pull some armies cut off from supply, what treachery is that when I liberate belgium and netherlands and dont even get to puppet them, or get supplies to armies b/c of no military access through Allied provinces . Anyway, with the fall of Germany, Italy, and after the Japanese surrender which crashes my game, their are no facist countries left. Maybe thats why it crashes? What happens to Manchuria after the event? Does it become mine or Nat. China's? Maybe I have to many divisions that need to be redeployed?
