I apologize if this question has been asked before, but I was wondering if modders could do anything with making bigger growable buildings. The reason I'm asking is that I've noticed that the zone filler tool seems to recognize areas that are larger than 4 squares wide, which made me wonder if the game as a whole could somehow recognize when this is the case and then assign a chance that (currently unavailable) larger growables could pop up.

Above: the zone filler tool recognizes that this area is 8 squares wide

I realize that this would probably only really work with non-curvy roads, but that's really ok - those very large buildings are really only placed on straight roads anyway, when you look at real-life examples like American downtowns.

On most roads, especially curvy ones, this would mean that buildings could still only be 4 squares wide (although I am wondering why the limit is 4x4 - wouldn't 6x4 be implementable as well?) But in larger, square city centers, this could lead to cooler, taller buildings popping up without the need for ploppables, especially if the chance of these buildings growing is tied to certain other factors (e.g., total city population, access to parks, etc.)

Please note that I have no idea if what I'm suggesting here is feasible - I'm not a modder or programmer in any way. I just took this idea from the zone filler tool and I apologize in advance if this is not possible. One can dream, right? :)

not possible atm
