I am playing a Germany game attacked SU in 41 and it's now 42 and have just reached all the bitter peace cities but thought there might have been made some changes in the requirements for it to fire compared to DD 1.2. Then I noticed that there is a tiny 1 % that the AI will accept bitter peace, is this WAD?

No, it was not very likely that Stalin would have accepted peace.......
Come on when the war in the east is over its boring.....

Its also boring when you are chasing cavalry and partisans across the entire empty waste of the Soviet Union. Although to get around this I usually create Russia, give them some units, and let them have at it while I screw around in England or South America.

On the contrary Stalin would have been very keen to make peace if SU was being slaughterd in order to save his on life. Continuing a hopeless fight when nothing can be done to stop German victory would most likly turn Stalins on partymembers against him much like what happend to Hitler during the July Plot. Option number 1 peace with Germany will have to give up huge lands but remain independent etc or certain death for Stalin (either by his own men or the Germans) and all communism.
