Black area on screen..??

Hi, I've just started playing IC, installed via the Arma route.

On the config screen, I chose "windowed" but IC crashed on the load screen "Unable to load video".

I remembered reading on the forum, you told some guy not to use "windowed" mode.

I reloaded the config screen and unticked windowed.

the load screen is only filling 75% of the monitor screen, and now I have this black area on this page..

Can you please advise?



ALSO:
I'm sure I was able to use my mouse wheel to zoom in on the map when I played using my last install (via AoD install route). This time, I have to use the + and - keyboard buttons. Is this right?

You can play the game in windowed mode but you must change the screen color to 16bits in order to do it.
In Arma the mouse wheel is not active to zoom the map, it is not a Iron cross issue.
