Black screen, crash at app close

I've tried opening the game in all three modes available in Steam, along with additional troubleshooting, including:
uninstalled, and unsubscribed from all mods
a reinstall alongside deleting the Introversion folder
Windows update
GPU update

Summarized specs:
Win11 Pro
64GB RAM
Intel Core i9
Nvidia Geforce RTX 3090

You’re not the first to report this. Passing it on, currently middle of the night in Europe, but they’ll see it when they get in to work.

I've managed to get the game to run in Safe Mode, and am met with "Sprite Shee Downscaled." Still not perfect, but progress.
