I am playing a game as Bohemia, the hastings scenario and i am at 1111 or something and i declared war against Emirate of Zaragosa/or his "count".
The problem is that when i play some days after the autosave, the game crashes, the screen becomes black and green stripes on the upside.
What is the problem?

Okay let's try some standard things.
1) Rename the AVI folder to AVI_back
2) Set the color depth to 16BIT
3) Turn off everything in the background like E-mail/ICQ/Messenger, Virus protection and everything in the system tray beside the clock.

unfortuneatly not, i tried today with the save but it frooze in 20 may 1111. I paused and then i could do nothing:(

the thing is that i send 15k bohemians down to iberia in a crusade against Zaragosa and when i am there, everything is f**ked up

Please run a DirectX Diagnostic:
Start menu –Run - then type Dxdiag, then select each tab across the top of the window, and run the tests on each tab. Then select “Save All Information” button in the lower right of the window. This will bring up a dialog box to allow you to select a name for the file where the information will be saved. You can save it right on the desktop as this will make it easy to find. Then copy the contents of that file from the start to the heading that says “DirectX components” then paste what you have copied into a post in this thread.

D**nit, first i didn't read the last at all, so i paste everything, then i read the way it should be read and then i read it the 3rd time and it felt better. My only defence against this i of my English.

Thanks for your patience, now the real text will be edited:)

Hmm, your Video driver is way out of date, update it.

DL'd the new one and run the installer is usually sufficient.

Well one way is to switch to the default windows generic driver, then reboot then apply the new driver.

The smartest people know when they do not know something. ;)

i did my update today
