For those who is having this problems in game can have a temporarily fix for this issue with patrum scuta ironman mod ! I tried and it worked . You only have to start a new game with the mod enabled!

Note this will not fix ALL such issues, only those caused by the bug in that link. Ones caused by an old or corrupted /gfx/ folder can still be fixed by deleting it.
