"Blank" (Black) Escutcheons (Dynasty shields) with the new 1.04 patch.

Blank Dynasty shields (RESOLVED)

Loaded up 1.04 for the first time today and noticed that a LOT of the dynasty shields are gone ingame. That is they show up as blank (black) shields. I have the shields DLC installed, but turning it off doesn't help. The checksum is the correct one (MLD0 something?)

Any suggestions - aside from reinstalling the game yet again? :happy:

Bug is 100% reproducible as it doesn't seem to go away.

If you're on Steam, try validating your files. (I've said that before but it really can help to solve a lot of random problems).

If you're on GG... try re-installing I guess.

It's a steam version - also "Been there, done that". It gave the all clear.

Update: Did a complete reinstall of the game via Steam - still blank shields almost everywhere.

Is this a new game or a pre-1.04 save that you've reloaded?

This is with any game/save I have/make. The screenshot is directly from the start (haven't even unpaused for the first time yet) as Denmark to show all the flags (since the main menu overlays don't allow that)
