Blank screen

When I try to load up Victoria:Revolutions (I downloaded them both from Gamersgate) it just goes to a blank black screen with no error message. I am unable to Ctrl+Alt+Del out or Alt+Tab out. I've loaded the game up before without any problems. If someone would help me out it would be appreciated.

This is the error I'm getting "Faulting application victoria.exe, version 1.0.0.2, faulting module ntdll.dll, version 5.1.2600.2180, fault address 0x00001230."

Have you renamed the AVI folder to stop the intro movies from playing? Please post the first part of the output from DXDIAG (through the 'display devices' section) and your settings.cfg file (it's just text).

I've fixed the problem. I moved the folders from the Gamersgate download, which messed up the game.
