I am reasonably far along in writing a Blender addon ... but it's unlikely to be finished this year now as I'm only working on it a few hours a week as a hobby project.

Hoping to get a few modders who already know Blender to test it out before I put it up for general download. If anyone would like to volunteer? :)

I've already got quite a few starship models I've made in Blender, sitting around that I'd love to port over to Stellaris. As soon as the tool's ready to test, I'd more than happily volunteer.

@ross-g : me and @Oninoni were writing a plugin at the start of the year.
In case you wanna look into the code it's right here on github https://github.com/WebsiteDeveloper/ClausewitzBlenderPlugin
I had to stop working on it due to work and my personal time constraints though.
But i'll some more time the next months so maybe if you need someone to help with the programming side or smth you could pm me.

Is there any chance that you could finish this script since its very promising. i have question how to use anim import option since its only breaking the current pose of armature for now its unfinished or am i using it wrongly.
 
@MrAdrianPl I might be able to put in some more work but i probably would need some people to supply files to test or also be available as testers
Concerning the anim import it might still be buggy, as it wasn't 100% finished.
If there are any more questions especially as the extension is currently not well documented (cause i didn't have that much time)
anyone can just pm me or maybe write an issue on github.
Maybe i could then also start creating an faq on the github wiki.

Do you guys know what have to be done in order for meshes to be selectable in-game (Stellaris).
It works only when I click on text label.
