Hi, I played EUIV many years ago and am considering returning to it again now that there is the subscription option. But before subscribing I just installed the base game and DLCs I already have to try it out to see how the game looks on my new Gaming setup.

When starting the game I immediately noticed the UI was way too small for the resolution. I did find the UI scaling option in game settings but while it does make the UI bigger it also makes it very blurry, especially the fonts - definitely not good enough for me to return to the game.

Are there any options to make the UI appropriately large while keeping it sharp? Some hidden settings, mods, etc.?

If not are there any plans to make it better in the near future?

Also is there any way to "centralize" the UI? My monitor has a resolution of 5120x1440 - having all the UI elements aligned to the edges is unplayable.

Here are screenshots with UI scaling 1.0 (too small) and 1.5 (blurry).

And one minor thing I kinda enjoyed the different arts on the loading screen but with this resolution they get cropped. Any way to prevent that?

You would need mods to change these things. Proper 2K UI Project for example has a non-blurry scaling for 1440p (you have to reset the UI scale to 1.0 in the options). I don't know if there is a mod which moves the UI elements from the edge to somewhere else. And such a mod would be incompatible with a scaling mod, so you would need one mod which does both. Or you could run eu4 in a window which doesn't use the full width of your monitor.
