I've read some of the excellent FAQ's from word one to the end and have a much better feel for things. Well done. I do have a couple other questions, however...

1. What boardgame is this based upon? (I play Age of Renaissance but this doesn't seem to be that - it COULD be since many of the same elements are there but I just don't know) I've never seen a board game called Europa Universalis.

2. How do I get my IP address for a multiplayer game?

3. Why are all the downloadable scenarios in German? Any English Scenario's?

4. What is the best in game scenario, all round, and why?

1. the board game is Europa Universalis and it was created - if I'm not mistaken - by a French man. It is available in Europe, but I don't know in the US/CAN.

2. Haven't try multiplayer games yet, but if you want to know your IP address, connect yourself to your ISP, go to your DOSprompt and type: IPCONFIG it shoudl return you your IP address.

3. Doesn't matter the language. You can install German scenarios and you'll never know it ;)

4. I've only played a little while to master some of the more intricate details. I've been playing with England, but playing at a weak level (in the settings at the begining). Next up, Portugal or maybe Austria.

Cheers

Why are all the downloadable scenarios in German?

It's been out the longest in german (and all the real freaks bought that version, even if not speaking a single word in german =)

the board game is Europa Universalis

On my site I have an entier section with files and links about the original BG, a good place to start if your interested in it.
