American Civil War game or American War of Independence game.
Hint #1: 'Project Truman' is a historical grand strategy game developed by Paradox Development Studio.
Well ACW/AWI would fall under that (as would most guesses)
Hint #2: 'Is this the game you have been waiting for?'
With 'Is' in italics. It is an Independent State not the United State (for ACW) or an Independent State from the British Empire (AWI)
Hint #3: 'You will explore a revolutionary trade system'
Revolutionary would certainly tie in with AWI and you certainly need trading links as the CSA in ACW.
Hint #4: 'Who leads your country is immensely important.'
Strong Continental Congress or a strong colonial governor (AWI), How will US do without Abe Lincoln? (ACW)
Hint #5: 'Don´t worry about being a bad boy.'
Well if you are declaring independence (AWI) you are already a bad boy to the Empire, likewise a Southern Rebel against the Union in ACW.
Bonus Hint: 'The places where I spent my summer as a small child is on the map.'
Well if that is Stone Mountain Georgia, stands to reason.

A bit more tricky, but then you certainly need the Treaty of Paris in AWI and perhaps European support in ACW. Not to confident on this one though.
