Short summary of what this mod does: It adds two new types of artillery: Field artillery is now split into three categories: Light artillery, medium artillery and heavy & railway artillery.
The way rockets work is changed: You need to build rocket test sites to be able to research rockets now - they were more or less useless in vanilla.

More detailed description:
Version 0.1
- Added light artillery and new heavy/railway artillery. Tweaked values of old artillery brigades (now medium artillery)
- Added artillery model names for Germany and UK
- Building rocket test sites is now mandatory for researching rockets (works only for great powers - GER, UK, UDSSR, ITA, FRA, JAP, USA - in this version. All other countries can unlock the techs two years after their historical dates.
- Added new tech teams: 'Heereswaffenamt' added for Germany; 'Heeresversuchsanstalt Peenemünde' replaces 'Wernher von Braun' in Germany; 'Robert Goddard' replaces 'Robert Truax' in USA
- Tweaked rockets a bit (Hopefully they are more useful now without being overpowered)
- Added new techs to country files in 1936, 1938, 1939, 1941 and 1944 campaign
- Added localisation in English and German (Playing in other languages *should* work, too. All strings newly added by this mod will however show up in English in this case)

Installation:
1.) Download the zip-file (they are the same, you only need one)
2.) Open it with an unpacker like 7-zip, winrar, or something similiar
3.) Unpack it in the AoD main folder, overwrite all if asked

Plans for future versions:
- Add more model names. At least for all great powers and most European countries
- Add country specific pictures for new brigades
- Add the need for building rocket test sites to research rockets for every country (there seems to be no way to check if a nation built a specific building in any of its provinces at the moment, so this is very tedious)
- Further improve the balancing
- Add some rocket-specific post-war events: The winners gain the loser's scientists and facilities
- Adapt starting OOBs to include the new brigades

Nice done tech mod! Keep it up!
I also like your idea with the rocket test sites as a must have to enable rockets. For me personally it's a bit too much artillery now, before you had four different artillery types, now you even add two more. Very often I only go for self propelled artillery and leave the others.

Thank you for the feedback.

For me personally it's a bit too much artillery now, before you had four different artillery types, now you even add two more. Very often I only go for self propelled artillery and leave the others.

The usefulness of the new artillery depends on the playing style and chosen country, I think. If you can afford the research and extra fuel and you need the extra speed, then self propelled artillery is probably the best choice. When in defensive position and speed wasn't a big issues I often went for artillery and tank destroyers, though.
In this situations you now have to choose between medium artillery (that is a bit slower then in vanilla now) and the quicker but weaker light artillery.
A second useful application for light artillery are minor nations: They don't have to spread their research on several types but can concentrate on light artillery which is also less expensive and needs less supply then other types, so this countries save IC and resources of which they usually don't have much anyway.

Heavy and railway guns are more useful then the one railway gun in vanilla, especially if you want to achieve a breakthrough &c but in many cases they're probably still more a 'roleplay-thing' to colour up the game a bit - I mean, who doesn't like huge railway guns? :)
