Or give us option to choose it.

It was head beat that prepares for exciting game when it played. Now this sound track kinda lacks the soul that pumps the excitement up for it.

Yeah... I guess I got caught up in the excitement of Biogenesis at the time which is itself good but the music isn't on the same level of TMA.

This track though is definitely a desolate, ominous kind of beastial vibe currently which I think fits but maybe lacks a bit of a soul behind it or something, I'm not sure...but that's not to say it's not okay or decent.

And I agree with the other poster, A Brighter Tomorrow is just one of those tracks I've loved since playing the game in 2020 and is a signature of the game itself in my opinion, at least for me... It is very...hmmm enveloping I think and draws you in.

And I agree, the ability to change the opening screen and maybe even the splash screen would be cool. May as well even add a random pairing of the two ^^

Also what's up with the songs on the steam music player? A lot of them are mis-labbeled and play the wrong song, like nothing in apocalypse section is from apocalypse. I also have songs viewable from DLC I do not own, but they play something else instead.

I really disliked the Machine Age main menu music.
An option to choose whatever track you want would be nice though.

Once upon a time ~

Agree with the "Let us choose!", like saaay Civilization IV has - I usually sport the Warlords Intro because I'm just not a fan of the BTS Intro. Nothing wrong with it, I just don't like it nearly as much.

So there could be an Options where you pick the splash/theme of X version or DLC?

That is also a great track btw, thanks for the reminder.

I really like this one:

Really captures the feeling of exploring a galaxy full of wonders, before the part where you get to the cosmic horror.

And +1 for letting us pick the intro music.

The Machine Age main menu music is Quantum Spawn, not Blade:

If you really want to re-enable it, all you have to do is disable the Biogenesis DLC. (you get the music for the most recent DLC you have active)

And on the subject of intro music, my favorite (aside from Quantum Spawn, of course) is this one:

edit: got the wrong Ancient Relics track

All these tracks are so good. The Leviathan track is extra special because when I first started playing in 2017 it really spoke to the theme of Stellaris.
Over the course of the game's life they have done a fantastic job with the music; evocative and sets the mood so well.
