Ok, so I try to attack a province with 10 defending units present - say from 3 directions.
To stop reinforcements, I land a couple of paratroopers in the province.
However, as soon as the para's land, the number of defenders seems to skyrocket. I am pretty sure the number of defenders now includes all of the forces trying to attack the Paratroopers from other adjacent provinces. This obviously means it takes much longer for my main attack to defeat the defenders - I have seen it jump to about 40 defenders in some cases.
The question is.. Should this be happening? Do the adjacent defenders somehow 'cheat' to get past the paratroops and jump in to defend the province? Should they be able to?
I think, at the very least, any enemy units should be severely delayed from making its way into the province.
Cheers
