The converter updated a few days ago to be compatible with the latest Invictus update, re-download the converter and see if you have the same issue.

If you do, send over your Bronze Age save file, let me know whether you're hybridizing with Invictus, Terra Indomita, or converting into vanilla, and I'll investigate.
I knew I was doing something wrong, I'll try the new version later!

I am hybridising with Invictus, but I tried with Vanilla and TI and had the same result. The log is the converter log btw, thanks

Edit: I was also using the BetterBlobs submod for C3rd, but the same result happened in a game without it
I fixed the issue: There was an old holdover in my source code which caused the character importer methods to use nearly twice as much memory as they should have, causing the converter to crash when importing characters from larger save files.

If you re-download the converter, your save should convert now.

Hey so I'm trying to convert a complete map conquest save, I made sure the converter is fully updated and I think it's having trouble finding where I have Invictus, as I use Linux and Steam so I believe it has to do with that it can't find the Z: directory as that's how it is on my Distro (kubuntu) and the log says it just stops at looking for an F: directory and then fails. Similar results happen when I try to use the Custom Installation option. I've uploaded my savegame and my log.txt. I'm currently using Wine with Lutris for converting games if that adds anything.

Also to note I haven't had this issue with any of the other converters.

Thank you for your report, just to quickly double-check, when you used the custom installation option, did you write the Invictus directory in the BaToImperator/configurables/modDirectories.txt file before converting?

How long should a savegame around 2100 take to convert?
It'd be fairly long, since pops in I:R always keep growing, and more pops are exponentially longer for the converter to process. A save from around 1000 should convert within 6 minutes, for example, while one from 1500 can take 15 minutes, and one from 2100 could possibly take as long as an hour. Additionally, I:R has some engine-related problems processing extensive family histories on startup spanning more then a dozen generations back, so if you crash upon selecting a country, I'd recommend re-converting and setting the character pruning option to extreme.

Converted my game with the new version, 10/10.

The only thing i think its needed to make it even better, its an option to keep the deified rulers.

I'm glad the conversion went smoothly, I hope you enjoy your megacampaign!

Deified rulers are definitely on my to-do list, so when I can figure out a good way to convert them over, I'll post an update.

Yeah it seems to have fixed it, had to point it towards where the Invictus' actual files are installed in Steam rather than the usual Imperator Mod documents directory.
Perfect, Steam auto-detection isn't 100% accurate, but as long as you can use the Custom Installation option, then everything should convert over good. If you have any further questions or concerns, let me know and I'll answer as soon. I hope you enjoy your megacampaign!
