Playing CK II, started as Brochfael II of Powys in 769 and I've now driven the Anglo-Saxons out of the isles and become king of Brythoniaid and Lloegyr. However, even as the counties of the former England are assimilated to Welsh culture the English names remain. I've been trying to find older Brythonic names for counties and towns in England but not much is turning up. Wikipedia is usually helpful when it comes to this sort of thing but not today. I realize many of England's settlements were founded anew by the Anglo-Saxons but I can't even find the Brythonic names for any of the settlements that predate the migration period.

Anyone have a good source of information on the toponymy of Sub-Roman Britain?

Other than from wiki, I'm afraid to say I can't find any. You would probably find a lot more help from Welsh/Brythonic language forums. If you do, I highly encourage you to post such findings in the CK2 discussion as well as suggestions forums.
