Any reason for the President Office over Captain's Cabin?

Yes, you only get 1 Pol card, but then 6 other players get one to play with as well. Plus you don't have to use a card to move there either.

The reason being my own stupidity, I did not check for the preload on athena´s love.
If moving betweent he ship is cheaper, it does make a lot more sense.

So, a reason you did not take the assault rapter or move a unmannded viper to Delta rather then launch a new one?

Yes, there is a reason why I did take a normal viper which should be fairly obvious. Considering my drawback and the per turn ability it is better to leave the AR for a more "normal" pilot who may have less reasons to return.

Considering that the game has just started I want to have a viper in echo and delta each and moving the one from foxtrot away would be stupid when you can launch a fresh one instead. It's really a zero-sum game how you want to spend the viper activations. One civvie has to be left onboard anyway (if you are thinking of hitting Command). so that the raiders will chase it.

CRISIS: Dishonest Tactics

President Chooses:
-1 Morale and the President may choose 1 Player to move from the Brig to Command.
OR
-1 Fuel and the President draws 2 Quorum Cards.

Allow me to argue the flip side on you taking the Assault Rapter.

You be in space, so you can always just move and there is no danger of the hanger deck being damaged keeping the CAG on ship.

I allow the Viper plan, but I still think it better to send one over to that one civilian ship can be looked over.

(Even better would be a communications and see if they are empty and move then to the raiders if they are)

It a hard choice what one is better here. Morale is easier to get back by a lot and we really need the fuel to go Earth.

But those 2 Q cards could be very helpful.

I personally would choose the morale over the fuel, but I am happy either way.

Why are we listening to the Cylon Leader?

I am strongly against Dex's move to lose a fuel, it is by far the most important resource and in return you only gain 2 quorum card (1 action is all it needs) makes it a horrible trade-off.

I understand Dex has discarded his hand in an earlier crisis, but this got my Cylon detector on full alert and will analyse his move very closely. It is getting very close to the point where I think we should transfer the presidency and/or airlock him.

FYI, I said we should go for the Morale over the fuel :)

Now if it would be minus population I be all for it.

Bad choice there. 7 fuel for 10 distance is not a good ratio, either forcing us to take a low distance destination that gives us fuel (with the cost of a whole additional jump cycle) or to search for and complete one of the two elusive +distance missions.

Draw Engineering/1

Make it one of each color for now. I change it up later if I need to.

A rather bad tradeoff on the fuel front. My spidey senses are tingling as well.
I would love to hear Dex´s reasoning, but we may need to shoot for an early anti-cylon action here if it is not very valid.
That Dex does not know that fuel is crucial does not fly after the amount of forum games we have seen him in.

Our Cylon leader seems benevolent for now, though, although he seems happy to pour out suspicion which is not good.

Let's wait for Dex's response, maybe we should airlock him now when he have zero cards, if he is a Cylon he can't oppose it and if he's a Human, at least all we lost is a morale.
