You can move to galactica by discarding a card for your movement indeed.

Right. Doh. We get to choose what to discard .. so we're scott free there.

@glasszon - choosing the discard is fine, I have 3 cards in hand, I just need one for our plans :)

Right. Discard preloaded.

## Turn Preload: Move to command, play Executive Order on glasszon

Take us out of here, admiral!
:D

edit: Jacob, if you send me my draw I can choose something to discard for the move, but it really doesn't matter anymore, does it?
And no, I won't discard TRE for that .. that'd be silly.

edit2: @glasszon - I do hope you have 2 non-tre cards to discard .. wait, does sabotage even matter anymore?

Exactly. Go for the discard.

Then our dear Admiral leaves the planet, gives the order, and jumps us out of here... :)

Edit: And Breeder's was the right choice. :)

Randy: Why do we go for the skill check? You still got 3 cards so at worse you are discarding 2 cards, save the XO that you hold and just go for Plan A? (Move to Galactica on your turn, XO me and I will jump)

That avoid the risk of reckless skill checks, without any civ ships on board Galactica could potentially be shot to pieces when raiders activate from "By your command". The cylon leader can and will make this skill check reckless.

We don't. I just had this giant brainfart caused by me thinking the discard was random when it's not.

I don't have time to carefully handle this to make sure I miss nothing so wont rush this, wont be able to do the update to handle this crisis for a few hours. Sorry guys.

Right. Discard preloaded.

Sabotage actually matters because we have 8 shots on galactica incoming from the raiders since there is no civ ships on board. This can potentially end the game with a cylon win if there is enough hits (guys, I hope you have calculations....)

Sabotage just says "damage galactica". It doesn't say "activate all raiders".
The crisis, however, does activate raiders .. :(
Drat. Didn't think of that.

So yeah, sabotage matters.
Can you discard without risking sabotage?

See also my last PM. We don't want the Cylons to win on technicalities after all...

Yeah, seen it, but it's not a problem :p

## Discard:
Tactics-3 (Strategic Planning)
Politics-2 (Consolidate Power)

Looking at the board:

Galactica (2/6 Damage)

It takes 4 hits from raiders to kill galactica, and the food token is still in the game.
So the odds of this still going wrong aren't terrible .. *knocks on wood*.

Well, I guess I'll have to wait for jacob to get back.
Glasszon, you can post your discard too, right?

I just calculated the probability of receiving 4 damage (or more) with 8 hits from raiders is about 0.1%, I didn't take the food token into account because it makes the calculations much more complicated and I am not looking for an exact value anyway. I think it's sufficient to say the chance of that happening is very low :p

(I also ignored the possibility of calculations being played, again I doubt it will vary the end result by a lot.)

I preloaded discards with JL already.

Well, since those are basically the odds of us still losing this game, I will take them gladly. :)
Much better than our odds if this crisis had hit, say, the fuel reserves ..

I am sure our last 2 operational Vipers will valiantly defend the fleet (they too get placed onboard with the set-up). :)

Ignore discard, and I will point out that my fellow cylon is a human for this, so he counts as a human discarding tre so...

Preload playing sabotage.

:)

Unavoidable. Taking the skill check would probably have resulted in king making that reckless, and a by your command activation.

Really, that human cylon leader thing is pretty OP..

When played by someone that is sane? Maybe.

Played the way it was this game, it the worse thing for the cylons ever. My teammate did not realize that if he did not get me going to help him to get his goals soon, then he could not win. He told me the wrong goal, meaning that I was basicly helping the humans the whole game, as I was playing for the 4 locations gone, rather then the 6 distance traveled, and I fully place the cylon loss on his sholders for that. You can't half play this game to win as a cylon. The humans will win with enough time, they have all the advantages.

You were helping us?
I'm sorry, but that attack crisis that you played didn't seem very helpful at all to me ..
