If no one else is able to I will see if I can start up a basic game with kobol as the goal down the line shortly.

And most would be avoidable, although some at a hefty price. One of them gave morale, too.

That's New Caprica for you... You would have hard time passing those crises without a POL character on your side. Against 3 Cylons the humans need a lot of luck to stand a chance. By the way, did anyone else than reis have a personal goal loyalty card? Anyway, thanks to everybody for a fun game, especially to EL for hosting. I have to admit that I was really hoping to get a Cylon loyalty card at sleeper phase, the game looked like a Cylon victory even at that point :D Too bad I had Zarek's drawback and couldn't execute reis on NC; I think my hand would've been good enough for that. It would've been hilarious.

Yeah, New Caprica does that, doesn't it?

Is that going to be an exodus game, a basic game with some exodus/pegasus elements, or a basic game "old school style"?

Looks like I did a good job pre sleeper phase then. :D
 
According to EL, the DD tossed a 6 at us, for a total of 8 negative points. Frak.

A cylon tossing -another- 6 into that check doesn't really help either, does it?
You needed +8, you managed only -4. That's a 12 point gap right there. Even if the DD had been neutral it -still- would have been outside DE range, let alone near a pass. Though of course without the Iron Will triggering you'd have been at 1 morale after this, instead of at 0 ..
 
No clue. There's another resource to manage (trauma), and there are a bunch of tricks that can be done with it. Near the end of the game it's possible to get permanently knocked out and lose if you have too much trauma, which could be quite nasty. And the allies can either be really helpful or really inconvenient.
 
The Ionian Nebula is prefaced with a warning that it will make the game much more challenging for the humans in the rulebook.
Just so you know.

Considering that the Exodus-without-Ionian-Nebula game I played this weekend was a walk in the park for the humans though I have been considering having a game with the Nebula in there.
Then again, that game was 3 humans (including Starbuck) against a cylon that got caught sabotaging and executed by Cally very early in the game. :)
And there was no New Caprica in that game, either.
 
Pegasus rules+Up to and including exodus characters. That way an exodus game someone else gets up is truly different and it avoids me having to GM a game I am not familiar with atm. We are allowed 2 games if different anyways and an exodus game with nebula is plenty different from what I will fire up.

I have no idea if that limit is still in place, what with the forum now suddenly being the "OT games forum".

We cannot hit 3 active BSG games anyways. You imagine the insanity of it all??

You could host the exact same game that I did. You should be familiar with it after playing it. Without the Cylon Sym that is.

Only way I can do any exodus is if people also really help me make sure I am not mucking it up. The cylon fleet stuff I only partially followed and gming with that is about like gming for the first time.
