Bug in Danish ver 1.08?

I bought Europa Universalis the other day and installed patch 1.08. When playing the Tutorial I'm unable to declare war to the Mamelukes and am also unable to build anything else than transport ships in the shipyards.

There are some text bugs too, some words are written in Sweedish and a few sentences in English. The word 'vedligeholdelsesomkostninger' is covering some data in the game. Some places the txt says 'hærer' instead of 'hær'

I also found this in an ingame txt:

I have the same txt-bugs, and hopefully the next patch will take care of these problems in the DK-version.

Creating a log

It would be nice if someone created a log (maybe in this message string) of the text errors there is in the Danish version.

I actually addressed this problem a month or so back, but witout much respons. I then decide that I would write all the errors down and send the list to Paradox.
But the little spare time I have I instead spend on playing EU - so I havent made any list.

But if you want to see lots of errors in the interface (overlaying text), just click on the right of the two scrolls in the bottom left corner. This enables the slider information. A lot of the text is overlaying.

Furthermore there is the information screen for provinces - this also have overlaying text errors. Well there is a lot of the - it would be great if someone started a proper log.

I have the same problem...

I have the same problems as PCDania......i cannot declare war with anyone, and i cannot build anything else than transportships in my shipyards....very annoying, this together makes my game unplayable.

Then there is all the textbugs, i cannot imagine the danish version of the game has been testet at all. The first time you play the danish version you see all the textbugs.

I have installed the patch 1.08

I'm playing the game from a Virtual disk, because i couldnt play the game from the CD. I have tried the CD-autonotification fix but it didnt work, it still crashed to the desktop every time the intro was finished, and the game was about to start.

Besides that....i have no music in the game, there is nothing wrong with my pc, its only 4 months old. Athlon 900, 256 Mb ram, GeForce2 Gts, Soundblaster Live 5.1, 2x30 Gb IBM 7200 RPM harddisk and Pioneer DVD 16x/40x CD-ROM. Windows 98 SE

Paradox.....please try and play the danish version, and correct the problems so we have a playable game.
