Bug in IGC, or EU?

I just started running EU1.08/ICG1.7c, with the IGC I option. I am Poland, and I got a colonial dynamism event, which gave me a fleet, a conquistador and settlers. Needless to say, I'm psyched. However, I went looking for the leader, and he wasn't in the fleet. He was in Terra Incognita!!! Somehow he started up in siberia (upper right-hand corner of the map), except that he has not uncovered anything, and can't move...

Anyone have an idea of why this is happening? I've never had this happen before.

I noticed it too by using page up/down but in truth the leader was on boart the three ships that dynanism gave. I don't know why it acts like this, I need to test does it the same with any other army/leader on board a fleet.

I've seen this happen too. It happens quite often but you don't really notice it if you dont use pgup to look for the leaders. I dont know why it is so but it sure is stupid!

Hi!

I had this problem before and this is how I solved it.

Choose this conquistador and tell it to go to a province in your home country.
The conquistador will now appear in it's right place and you can begin to use it.

I had this problem several times playing as Sweden. The event says that I had
got a conquistador in Nyland but I didn't find this conquistador until I found it stuck
in Permanent Terra incognito. I tried to move but it didn't work until I tried to
move conquistador to a province in the Swedish mainland. I clicked on Stockholm
and suddenly the conquistador appeared in Nyland on its way moving to Stockholm.

This isn't really a bug. The conquistador is actually on the new fleet that you received with the random event. (I think any troops on ships also appear in Terra Incognita - guess the game has to put them *somewhere*).

Yes, this means that the ground troops are loaded onto ships that are in port. AFAIK, this is the only time this can happen.
