Greetings, this is my first post here, I am unsure of the classifications.....
I'm just starting out and the game runs OK on my system so far, no crashes, audio/visual perfect, and so on, so I have some trouble believing it's hardware.
But it seems that the game won't make a valid Saved Game.
The save appears in the Saved Game box, but the Start button never lights. Hardly surprising, since the saved game (as seen in the directory) is only 1 KB!
The autosaves won't load either.
The game seems to want me to start a new game every time.

1) There should be 2 files, both with the name of yor savegame. One is small (a few kB), another quite large (2MB+). Are you sure you're checking good one?
2) (about start button) Do you select your Kingdom/Duchy/County from a list that shows up when you select your save game?

PS. Sorry for asking such questions but at the beginning I had problem with that... :)

1) Yes there are -- now -- but there weren't before I did a remove and reinstall this morning! Yesterday there was a big fat Autosave.eug and a <kingdom-date>.cfg. Didn't re-check, sorry.

2) Oh!! You mean first choose the <kingdom-date> and then the country? Wow, that's counter-intuitive. When it waggled the country-list at me, I assumed that it was refusing the reload operation and wanting me to start again.
Let's see.... it works! Thank you, kind sir (or madam), you've solved the problem for me. See you in another thread! :p
