Playing as Japan (Vanilla 1.06) and have taken China, Eastern USSR, SE Asia, and just now, most of India including Bombay. Previous to taking Bombay, I picked up all the gathered resouces from Koshu, which is close at hand to Japan and where it SHOULD be. Now all of a sudden, my resource depot shifts to Bombay. So instead of being able to protect my convoys from my homelands at the Koshu pickup, they now have to tranverse the India ocean, Singapore straights, etc, to make it back to Japan. Seems like with 1.06, the pickup points now shift insanely. It used to be that where you first invaded would be where you would pick up resouces. Now it shifts around the more you conqure, to the most illogical places. Germany taking England, the pickup point will shift to Gasglow, instead of closer to Germany or where you invaded. I always like the where you invaded being the pickup point. This was something to consider in your invasion plans. Now, it does not matter since 1.06 will shift your pickup point on you, making you recreate convoys, which are always longer and less convinent.

You are correct and not correct, and this is what is so STUPID about this problem. To give resources to anyone, friend or foe, yes, any connected province will transport the resources, except for yourself. To transport too yourself, YOU can only transport from the province with the resources stockpile to your homelands, which IMHO, makes this a bug or insane WAD.
