In my recent game as Blackwood, a strange thing happened; there was a landless child in my realm with a claim on Red Fork. When regency happened in Red Fork, i decided to press weak claim of the child to expand my influence. I decided to give the child a holding before going into war as my sole intention was to make him my vassal. However, when i read the tooltip included in war declaration section, one of he will be your vassals conditions is that "he will be your vassal if he is in the same realm with you". I thought "Well great, no need to lose a holding, he is in the same realm with me" and attacked without granting a holding to my claimant. I won the war but in the end overlord of new lord of Red Fork's is Iron Throne
