Ugly yes
Bug maybe not

I wish it is a bug thus they would fix it. But considering the rails are unique when you place them, I think it's working as designed.

i doubt its a bug. since there is only one/two tracks, how else would they do that?

Well they need to fix this, i'm not confortable to see my train disappear just like that...
they did cities in motion, they should include some mechanics from it to cities skyline, otherwise it's not realistic

i'm against disappearing train and i'm not the only one.

Of course it's a bug. The city needs to be as realistic as possible, and by having trains clip into each other ruins that.

Wait? Who are you? Are you claiming false identity to say your one the devs or the designer of this game? Since you just claimed the city needs to be as realistic as possible.

This is a video game. This is not a Realism simulator...

"You are claiming false identity..."

Are you trolling for CO?
idk. If he is not trolling then I'm not trolling. You can't expect a video game to be real life. I'm getting tired of everyone claiming the way the game is. Suggestions sure. Full out saying it's a bug because it should be this is not acceptable.

I would agree it's a bug. I mean, what's the point of having a dual track, when trains going in both directions use the same side? The outgoing train should've spawned on the oposite track.

Finally a sane comment. Trains only using one track definitely can't be by design, although it doesn't personally bug me it defeats the point of having a dual track.

Just because you want it to be different doesn't make it a bug. If its intended its not a bug and I'm pretty sure it is intended.

Why would it be intended?
"Let's make a game and allow the trains to disappear and clip into each other."
I think that's just bad simulation and it needs to be fixed.

i have a question here.
if the train spawns again, meaning it's the end of the line right?

what about if we make a loop? does the train continue it's journey always on the same way?
can we plan the route like buses?

Or maybe not even spawn. They could switch tracks. I've noticed that train stations have these switch areas when you plop them:

You can see in the photo, at the ends of the station, the rails have some sort of switch track. The reains can use them instead. It will look better too, instead of having trains just spawn like that on the other side. Plus, I think this is the reason that they have it in the first place.
