While playing GC 1.08 recently, I came across one minor and one major bug.

1) Received "scandal at court" random event. Was told that my monarch's diplomatic skill would be set to 1. In fact, he had skill set to the HIGHEST level. The four diplomats/year was nice, but clearly not intended.

2) 1762 comes and Catherine II ascends to throne in Russia. The same day, Peter III becomes czar. I suspect that the names were read alpahbetically, as they were not chronologically correct, and Peter is still ruling eight years later. No sign of Kate the Great. Playing as Turkey, I don't miss the old dame, but if I were Russia I'd be a little irritated.

Keep up the good work.
