Is there a problem with bug reporting or am I being dim? I try to post a bug, complete every step yet I get a 'whoops! invalid select value' when I try to submit it.

Most likely neither one.
The Paradox forums do not allow posting any attachments or links until a new member has posted at least 5 messages. That seems to be one of their methods for website security. Try making 3 short posts and then submit your bug report.

yes im trying to post bug report for CS2 and im unable to so im just wish you a great day

Posting in the OT section doesn't count.
The poster before you shapask has by now done his bug report by the way.
Looks like he posted that after 12 posts or so.

Plain text shouldn't be a problem, as far as i know and used to be the case.
More than that requries a higher post count.
