I'm suddenly getting a massive amount of lag with this mod, running everything but VIET Immersion, when I load a game it starts out running smoothly and then the lag gradually sets in. I tried making various changes to the settings.txt file but it didn't seem to have any effect and everything's lovely and smooth when I run vanilla. Any suggestions?

I hope so. Unfortunately the event triggered for me some way or another and the game crashed. And that's after waiting for 2 decades for a son. Why that year? Oh, lawd why? :p

Hmm. :/

Anyhow it appears after some testing from zijistark, HIP's resident programming extraordinaire, we've come to the conclusion that the decade pulse may indeed be somehow borked (whch would explain why PI never used it) and we will try testing it fresh with the five year pulse to see if that causes any issues.

Hello,

Using Project Balance, Viet Events, Immersion, Traits and the ARKO pack. I have all the DLC excluding unit packs/music.

I cannot for any reason use the my chancellor to fabricate claims or declare Holy Wars (I meet the requirement according to the decision option well and truly). This is map-wide with Holy Wars however the AI are still able to fabricate claims.

Really strange and frustrating, I've deleted and reinstalled Crusader Kings and all the mods multiple times. I've resorted to deleting the Project balance/viet new claims and just using the vanilla ones and I have Holy Wars back but still cannot fabricate.

Hoping for some insight on this.

Thanks.

It's possible that redownloading HIP will fix the holy war issue.
The claim issue is being fixed in the next HIP release. Alternatively you could download the PB beta (link to that's in the PB thread), which should definitely fix both your issues.

Meneth, I think there's an issue with the character encoding of the 00_religions.txt file in the VIET Immersion module, in the finnish_pagan_reformed religion. When you view the file in the Windows-1252 encoding the game uses, a couple of the god names are messed up.

There are a problem with prepared invasion. I dont now if its vanilla or HIP, but Ill post it anyway.
From start of the game you get the chance to prepare an invasion as the jutes, but the option to declare the war isnt there.

I have the same problem. Just HIP, all mods in it except SWMH. Cannot fabricate claims at all with EVERYTHING greyed out to my chancellor when I attempt to fabricate claims. it's super annoying as I'm pagan and cannot resort to using the Pope as a way around that issue.

In West Africa, the "mande" and "sosso" cultures are rendered in lower case on the character screen. The West African provinces themselves are all "noculture".

Some characters portraits are black or blank for me (can't even click them). I'm using Viet Immersion instead of SWMH (Shame I can't use both :( ), and for question "do you have all dlc portraits" during installation I answered no.

Appears the installer was bugged, as it didn't remove certain files as it was supposed to - this will be fixed in this upcoming update for this weekend.

I think for now you can temporarily fix it by going into "mod/Historical Immersion Project/interface" and deleting *every* gfx file that starts with "portraits" in the interface folder, except for "portraits.gfx" and "portrait_sprites.gfx".

At the William the Conqueror Bookmark, France starts with a few counties fragmented. Poitou, Agen, Perigord, Angouleme, La Marche, and Auvernhe are independent and Velay has no assigned character.

Which HIP mods are you running?

The same bug is still occurring, even after I deleted everything and installed the new update.

Edit: Verifying my files in Steam and downloading 2 files seems to have fixed my issue.
