Hmm... That is really strange... I can't reproduce it myself, and I'm also running PB+VIET. See for yourself:

Strange you'd be getting issues with that... other than PB and Immersion you're not running anything from HIP that would be messing around with buildings... Are you by chance running any other mods? Or made any personal changes or tweaks on your local build?

Anyhow try re-downloading and re-installing the latest version, justin case. Never hurts. :/

That was a fresh install, and I specifically turned off the only other thing I was running... which changed all of one font.

Looks fine to me. Are you talking about how paler he is compared to vanilla? That's WAD. Persians (and frankly most of the Muslim cultures) as depicted in vanilla are hilariously off (even compared to modern-day Persians, who vary in tone from the vanilla Muslim to Norse portraits); though I've used the Med portraits as the base for the Persians do note this is a heavily modified version (courtesy of GeorgAfLuckba and Velorian) that brings the Mediterranean looks up to par with vanilla (at least to those who don't like the Med portraits) and I use it as it is the best approximation given the current face bases available to me (for the most part I try to use vanilla or modified vanilla assets). Anyhow if you want to see what the new portraits should ideally look like you can take a look at the screenshots in the Cultures and Portraits Revamp thread (though do note some of them are outdated, but they should give you an idea). If you're really not a fan of the portraits in Immersion (no problem, that's cool) do note that in the next update of HIP we'll be separating the portraits into their module, so you can jsut turn it off.

More the overall facial features he's got, which was making me think something was very, very wrong.

Can't make Ibadi Caliphate I was Guijarat and a Republic of Hormuz, if that make a difference. Also Druze, and other heresy have some problems. One problem is that when you click on the religion tab, where a face goes it says moral authority or something. Also Immersion and PB is what I use.

The issues with the religion tab are from vanilla and not something we can fix. As for the Ibadi Caliphate, it has a lot of conditions attached to its creation; are you sure you met those conditions?

Yep I owned Mirza, Sayyid, 1000 Piety, control Jerusalim, Baghdad, Mecca, Medina, and Damascus. Moral Authority was around 80% when I last checked. Thing is I could convert to Yazidi.

While surveying my realm I received a message that due to unforeseen circumstances my survey had to stop. I lost the Traveling trait, my regency ended, and I was back home reigning. However, the survey events and messages continued as if it had not been interrupted at all. I'm using all modules except SWMH.

Now that's an ugly country name

Using everything, exept Immersion.

I've a really annoying bug when i want to educate a child who's not my heir: after each month, the game assign a new teacher to the children i choosed a teacher to educate. It's really really annoying and make the game unplayable/boring to put the good teacher each month for each children except my heir. Has someone the same issue or know how to fix it?

Hmm. Alright, this is the last thing I can think of - go to "mod/Historical immersion Project/common/cultures". If you see any file other than "00_cultures.txt" and "PB_cultures.txt", delete them. If that doesn't fix it, and/or there aren't any other files to begin with, then I'm afraid I'm out of ideas, sorry. :/

Hmm. I see. Anyhow he's appearing as WAD otherwise, so at least the game is working as designed there.

I'll look into that. Sounds a bit similar to an issue that's been reported from time to time where the Yazidi Sheikhdom can't be formed despite meeting all requirements, even though the code is virtually identical to vanilla's. (Of course I'm assuming you made certain there was no current holder of the Ibadi head.)

I'll see if I can get around to fixing that or tweaking it somehow, thanks.

This is a vanilla bug and there is currently no way to fix it.

Good Evening

I'm not sure if this was reported before but I noticed today some but not all characters of bulgarian culture are displayed with an invisible protrait in my game.
I play with every module except SWMH.

So I take it the folder isn't supposed to look like this?

Do you have all the DLC portraits (including RoI)? If not then you should apply the portrait fix.

Aye, it's not supposed to look like that. Actually if it looks like that it means you don't have the latest version, because those files aren't in the latest version or somehow you still kept the old files around (make sure you always delete everything before installing new versions, even savegame compatible ones). Anyhow you can safely delete all of them except for "00_cultures.txt" and "PB_cultures.txt"

Latest version, using every mod apart from SWMH.

I think this is an oversight: shouldn't it be Turkestan ?

Also, typo in this event: (tjhat instead of that)

I can confirm that they are NOT triggering, exactly as you found.

EDIT: Something else, although feasts events are working, there is now no `cool down period`...therefore you can literally have a feast every yr...i.e. one starts in November, finishes in Feb or March, then next starts in Nov and so on

EDIT 2 Rather important I think, under the intrigue tab, none of the timers are working. I'm sorta doing a large bug test here, but I tried buying indulgences, and can buy one after another with no cooldown. Same goes with hunts, festivals and feasts. I can have one of each every yr [even though the fair events aren't firing], with no cooldown.

N.B. The icon for holding each one is shown on the character's portrait card correctly, but disappears immediately the feast, fair or hunt ends, and is not replaced with the normal `just held an X`.

Not sure if this is HIP related but I'm sure the HIP team knows how to remedy it. I'm using all modules except SWMH.

I received an event that my "dear first wife...is expressing her shame and embarrassment over the fact" that my heir isn't her child.

Except it's not a fact. And she's not only my first wife: she's my only wife. And the child in question is hers. She must be psycho.

Oh, and the child she wants me to make heir is the very one that she's complaining about.

Somehow, I don't think this is supposed to happen when I reload a no-ahistorical-empires game.

Historical Immersion Project (2014-04-20)
Enabled modules:
ARKO Armoiries (2014-03-28)
ARKO Interface (2014-03-28)
Project Balance (v3.5.4 - 2014-04-19)
NBRT+ (v2.1 - 2014-03-28)
VIET Events (v1.6.0.1 - 2014-04-19)
VIET Immersion (v1.6.0.1 - 2014-04-19)

Also, I think it might be a good idea to change Semien's colour, as it's currently the same as the 'this land hasn't loaded right' thing, and that's throwing me off.

Sounds like an issue with one of the vanilla events, relationships have been a bit wonky and all post-RoI.

Trigger event 512 in the console and see if that works (I think the event might not show up technically but it should be doing whatever behind the scenes).
