Hi,

I suffer from an annoying bug that is still with us and doesn't look that tricky to fix. If I have a stack of armies in a country and press Reorganise, and then someone attacks me whilst I still have the reorganise screen open, my army no matter how powerful automatically loses the battle and retreats.

Having 80,000 men being driven off by 1,000 cavalry is annoying in the extreme.

I have learned to try an reorganise armies ONLY in safe areas where attack is not anticipated, but still occassionally get caught out.

Could someone fix this please !

Of course, in real life, armies are quite
vulnerable while in the process of reorganization,
so it's not clear to me that this is really a
bug. In real life, units would be disengaged
from the front line of battle before reorganizing
them, if at all possible. It may be that the
penalty is excessive (I've not had a chance to
see it first-hand), but I would consider this
an interesting "feature" if it deliberately
models what happens if one is attacked when
one's command-and-control structure is in flux.

Balzingo!

Are you doing this in real time or while paused. I always do procedural tasks like this while paused. I do all my movement plans, builds, diplomacy etc. while paused.

Hi,

Ah I see, no I don't do anything paused, I only pause when my wife insists I eat something or acknowledge her existence, everything else is real time. What else should you do paused??
